You're only getting 8:1 on the call with your only outs being overcard outs. even assuming all of the K's and A's are live you make it as about 6.5:1 dog. However, you could also be drawing dead if they have a 7, 88 or 33 and slim if they have A8 or K8 (13.7:1 dog). The check/raise on the turn reeks of strength and they don't have to have a problem hand very often for it to be unprofitable call. With this in mind I think it's an easy fold as even if all of your cards are live, you're only barely getting the right odds to call.River: (9 BB) [5d] (2 players)SB checks, Hero checks.Final Pot: 9 BBResults in white below: Hero has Kd Ac (one pair, sevens). SB has 8s Ad (two pair, eights and sevens). Outcome: SB wins 9 BB. Imagine how much this would have cost if you'd hit the A on the river. I'm guessing 1 bet, if the SB leads into you, and 2 if he goes for another check/raise.

I've definetly had a change of heart regarding AJo. It comes more from me posting a few hands at 2+2 and seeing posted hands there when people limp with it. I was also annoyed at the suckout you put on me

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with [Kd]' date=' [Ac']. 1 fold, UTG+1 calls.Flop: (7 SB) [7c], [7d], [3h] (3 players)SB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, SB calls, UTG+1 calls.Turn: (5 BB) [8d] (3 players)SB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls.here's a question, should I fold to this turn raise? or was I getting enough odds to call the raise?I say no. I'm guessing 1 bet, if the SB leads into you, and 2 if he goes for another check/raise.
I was gonna say roughly the same thing on the turn pot odds, then I saw Zarathustra's response. Yeah, unless you think it's highly likely he's bluffing with zilch, you hafta fold.Do you always make the turn bet here? Against opponents who are willing to fold, okay, but if opponents have been paying attention, they'll know that you likely just have overcards here, and will count on you to bet for them. In this case SB got lucky, and god knows what UTG+1 called on the flop with; but it seems like usually, opponents that would call you on the flop would either have a 7, a 3, or a set. (or a really loose player might have a gutshot). I can see the case for betting again on the turn - you might buy the pot (or get value from loose callers) or win a free showdown. But does this work often enough (vs. the number of times you run into a slow-played seven or pair) to make it worth it? Just wondering.
Then you go to da box for 2 minutes by yourself, you feel shame... then you get free.
