Talk to me about the hands in general.1. $1/$2 PLHero in the SB with :):icon_dance: :icon_dance: :icon_dance: Table has a high av. pot. Villain is LAG preflop but hasn't gotten out of line postflop much. Hero has $100~, Villain has $400~Villain (UTG) raises to pot ($9~). Folds to Hero in the SB who calls, BB folds.Flop :D:icon_dance::D Hero checks. Villain bets the pot. Hero raises the pot and is essentially allin. 2. $.5/$1 PL. Villain has called a lot of small raises preflop but I haven't seen him show down a hand and really have no read. Hero $55~, Villain $60~Hero in the SB with :):icon_dance::D:club: Folds to Hero who completes, Villain raises to $2, Hero calls. Flop :):icon_dance::D Hero checks. Villain pots ($4~), Hero waits a few seconds and calls.Turn :icon_dance: Hero checks. Villain bets $5. Hero raises to $20. Villain times all the way down and re-pots to put Hero allin. Hero?

Hand 1. Pushing is good. About the best board for top two pair you can really get. Your ahead of AA and a couple broadway cards for some sort of straight draw. Hand 2. You've put around half your stack in on the turn so he should know your not folding to a reraise. Villian could have something like an AK here. I call also.

Hand 1: Standard.

...2. $.5/$1 PL. Villain has called a lot of small raises preflop but I haven't seen him show down a hand and really have no read. Hero $55~, Villain $60~Hero in the SB with :D:):D:club: Folds to Hero who completes, Villain raises to $1, Hero calls. Flop :D:):D ...
Hand 2: Hero slaps villain for raising $0 preflop and forcing him to make a $0 call.

My bad, fixed.
No worries, I was just having some fun.In the second hand, the timing tell would be telling me that you're probably up against a monster, but I still cannot find it in me to fold second nuts here (you are losing too much EV if you allow a timing tell to make you fold second nuts). For the record, I like your line on this hand (check-call flop, check-raise turn) although I will sometimes check-raise this flop or lead at this flop to mix it up. Blind versus blind battles are so fun, and I really like to mix it up in these situations.
