February was my best month. I took a few shots at some tournaments that I wouldn't normally play when sngs were down on stars. MTT's I was good in, sng I blew goats. Profited about $3200 in total after donking off a good chunk in sngs.March goal. $1500 profit would be nice. Another nice mtt score would be great, but I think I'm going to spend more time this month studying the game.

February sucked:1) No poker for first 2.5 weeks.2) Played two FTOPS events, screwed out of both before cashing.3) Transferred some cash to Prima, lost 11 buyins at 50nl in my first 600 hands running horribly.4) Played some $100PLO at a juicy table and somehow lost ~$460 in 150 hands running 5 buyins below expectation (thanks for that Bud).5) Prima site gets frozen, noone knows a bloody thing and I have no idea if and when I'll get my money. Company holding the cash has gone into liquidation. Probably not getting anything of my deposit bonus or any of my rakeback. On the plus side I played 1800 hands of NL of FullTilt and made 6 buyins at 50nl. That's a positive I guess.

Dam i forgot to do this when i got up?same goals as January.Did not do to much In Decmber. My goals are about the same for Febuary.IN November I started out with a BR$102 $80 on UB. and $22.50 from PS. The $22.50 started from a free roll here on FCT. Place on final table. Unable to play in the grand tourney. Grabbed some $T. (Thanks BOB) and played Some $1-$5 tourney walking away with $22.50.Was playing some $1 Tourney and .02/04--.05/.10 limit and .02 NO-limit. Don't laugh we all have to start some place. On UB I was up around $120 hit a $2.20 MTT. Now down to about $60. The big shot played some $10-$20 tourney I should not have played. On PS up around $27.00. Moved from .02/.04 up to .05/.20 lost $7.41. Bad play and tilt. landed back in .02/.04 tilted some more for about $4. Regrouped worked back to $18.37.Rethinking my game Going to stay in Limit Holdem .02/.04. Playing to many different games at first will drip away BR. Find one that you can build skill and your BR with stick with it. then move on.January Goals:Stick with limit hold'emFollow BR rules move up when they hit 400BB of next limitmove down when they hit 250BB of lower limitRead TTOP and SSHE (started them but need to complete and reread)Feb 1st make new goalBR is at $97.82UB=$68.61 PS=$29.21Will grind out hand in Limit Hold'em:continues my renewed dedication to LHE and building a bankroll. 50 hands per day minimum, 100 hands per week minimum, 5K+ hands for the month. I should be moving up to .5/.10 within the next 5000 hands or so if my win rate holds, and I should be able to put in at least 2.5K hands at the new limit. If I can run at 6BB/hr, I should be poised to move up again in febuary.Ulitmate Goals:Have poker pay for a House. To do well in a big tournament.Primary goal is:Build BR to around 2505k+ hands of LHE. Keep analyzing and getting better.Bank roll up to datePS BR:$34.19 UB BR: $63.60 Total BR $97.79*Note to self stop playing tournaments till you hit $250.

Shooting a porn was the first thing that came to mind, I'd say I have a ~35% chance of being right.

Going to be in and around Attitash/Eastern Slope from 21st-30th. I'll see if I can get away at some point, but tbh it will probably prove awkward to organise. It's >200 miles to Foxwoods, and I'm the only person in the group who has any interest in poker at all (oh, and I don't drive so I can't easily scoot down myself).

Well, I didn't even bother to set goals in February because I was thinking seriously about quitting poker. I'm in a little better place than that now, so on with March:1. Low-end: Be profitable at 2/4 for a minimum of 10 BI just to be making some progress. High-end: Make at least $5,000 each for my staker and myself.I could easily best the high-end estimate if I run well, but that's about the highest I have confidence I can do without getting some luck. Those $10K months at 1/2, I was running pretty smooth and lucking into some ridic soft games as well that are pretty tough to find.2. Put in 30,000 hands total playing PLONot even going to try for a low-end high-end type thing here as when I put in too many hands, I lose a little bit of my edge and start getting sloppy. If anything, I should make it another goal that I don't play more than 50K hands.3. Spend more time thinking theoretically about the game and plugging my leaks. When I was running well, I really had the attitude that "I don't have any leaks; I can beat anyone that's not at least a 5/10 or 10/20 reg, there's no point working on my game". After two months at -0.5 PTBB/100 though, I've definitely found some spots I can work on. My C-betting frequency OOP after a 3-bet is way off and my bet/call range against short stacks is too light too. There are other smaller leaks too such as 3-betting a little too much, not folding enough against passive players, etc. Definitely have some things I need to work on.
Lady luck's my fuck-buddy.

Posted ImageFebruary Summary:17k hands+$252 in NLHE play+~$200 rakeback+~$100 in cleared bonuses/bonus pointsOverall, I am really pleased with my play this month. A disappointing way to finish my last two days, however - a couple coolers, KK<AA on back to back hands, and chasing one of my fav. donks unsuccessfully up at a 100NL game. I spent a lot of time studying the game and improving, and I am very pleased with my consistent dedication to getting better. Still a ton to improve on, thus...March goals:No monetary goal, just want to focus on playing well all the time I am sitting at a tablePlay 25k hands at 6max 25NL, 50NL, and maybe selective 100NL shots towards the end of the month Finish rereading HOH 1 & 2 and continue my studying/improvingCheer my ASU Sun Devils to the Sweet 16 :)gogogogogogogogogogo March!
