why would anyone in their right minds spend two weeks in juarez, much less move there. You weren't even there for first Thursday.
"I can psych the shit out of people. I don't need cards to beat you. I can literally have no cards, and I would still beat you. You think that's not playing fairly, or that's not the way a gentleman plays? I would fight you over that."

February Goals15,000 hands, $10,000 profit.I'm going to stick with 5/10 for a while, as I'm very comfortable there, and I can handle the quick, huge swings of HU LHE there there best, in terms of the amount of money. Also, this is the first time I've been overrolled for anything, and I'm really enjoying the extra comfort.I'm not rolled for 10/20 yet, anyways, but when the time comes, I don't really want to jump into it without being ready for double the amount of money going either way, so basically, the plan for February is to build up my roll (which means spend WAY less than I did in January) to the point that I'll be ready for 10/20 come March.Once again, best of luck to everyone in February!
February ResultsTable Profit: $5,672.48Rakeback: $467.18Bonus: $1,035Points Value: $1,178.32Other*: $49.00Total: $8,401.98Hands Played: 9,290*Other includes referral rakeback, coaching income, tournament winnings, fees incurred during withdrawals, and the gain/loss of money based on the current exchange rate, since I hold some of my BR in $CAD, as well as some money lost when I took 10% of a friend's action in a soft 100/200 game (again). So, I didn't meet my hands goal. I had some stuff come up that prevented me from playing as much as I wanted to. I had surgery early in the month, and missed 4 days of play from that, and then my computer died, and I missed 2 or 3 days of play from that, before I figured they couldn't fix my computer in time, so I'd have to buy a new one.Still did pretty well in terms of profit, despite the lack of hands played, and despite the fact that I felt like I was running poorly for a long stretch. It's kinda funny how far I've come with my game lately. This is my 3rd best month ever, and I feel like it was a poor showing. :)All of my play in February was at 5/10 HU LHE.Graph:Posted ImageMarch Goals15,000 hands, $15,000 profit.Alrighty, March marks my jump to 10/20 HU LHE, after spending the better part of 3 months playing 5/10. Unfortunately, because of a couple extra expenses incurred in February, I'm a bit short of the bankroll goal I was trying to get to before jumping to 10/20, but I've still got over 900 BBs, so I think that's enough to keep me comfortable. For March, I'll be mixing in hands of 5/10 and 10/20, whichever happens to come up while I'm waiting, so I don't really know what the distribution will look like, but I'd love to see like 50/50, if I can. Also, if I happen to run real poorly to start the month, at 5/10 and 10/20, I'll drop back down to just 5/10.If I manage to get a number of hands in at 10/20, and actually run average, I think I could blow past $15k, but since there's a little uncertainty on how much action I'll get at 10/20, I'm just gonna shoot for $15k.If we get that $15k, and manage to limit my expenses in March, I'll be looking at adding some 15/30 action in April.Good luck in March!

Feb Goals:My Feb graph first (slightly incorrect due to errors in the Cake Hand Histories):Posted Image-Make 8k+Close, made 7.4k in February, my best month ever. Still happy with the result. Would have crushed this goal if I hadn't had a poor final week where I felt like I was spewing money at times.-Play 30k handsOnly got 24k hands in. Not really unhappy about it though. Stopped sessions early due to absolutely killing the tables after an hour or so. Made almost 1000 in rakeback on the month and made 8th in my affiliate's rake race, for some nice bonus money.-Take successful shots at 2/4Some moderate success here. Though I lost about a buy-in and a half at 2/4, I felt I played well and didn't run too hot. I got 1 outted after flopping set over set in a 3b pot (QQQ < 555 on river 5). Probably up in Sklansky bucks at 2/4.March Goals:-Make 8k+, with 10k as my reach goal.-Play 25k hands (this will be difficult as I'll be taking 5 or so days off for spring break with my girlfriend)-Take more shots at 2/4 and possibly move up by the end of the month-Continue posting regularly in my blog!

Posted Imagemonth was a success though. I was down like 8.5k or something at one poitn this month (played a euro game) so nice to only lose a few hundred.I wasn't on my game due to some other shit going on in my life, but really felt like that turned around and that is why you see me playing and winning.I'm still stuck like 4k on the year, but that is a pittance! March is back on the grind. shooting for NEVER TILTING. I tilted today, and it almost got bad..but got lucky to play a donk and win some mobnies off him...so NEVER TILT.30k+ hands, 25k+ dollars.and this graph is misleading. looks like i played 10/20 or something...but i didn't. most of this is 2/4 hu, but there is 5/10 hu there against idiots who wanted to play highher against me to chase loses. I of course, was down with that.- Jordan

Februari Goals:-Make the move up to 50NL succesfully-Continue building my roll at 50NL to 2500$ at least.-Play 15k hands at 50NL.
Reached none of those goals though I got close to the 15k hands goal, only half of them were at 50NL though, others at 25NL.February Report:PokerTracker Stats and Position Stats:Posted ImagePosted ImagePokerEV and PokerGraph Graphs:Posted ImagePosted ImageFebruary's Closing Thoughts:The first half of the month was my 1st shot at 50NL. The thing that made it tougher for me was the transition to LAG play. I was still playing the same number of tables, but more hands per table so the total number of hands increased and I couldn't keep up. I also wasn't totally comfortable with the tougher postflop decisions a LAG player has to face. Last but not least I ran like crap aswell and I didn't have my tilt under controll well enough yet. All this combined forced me to drop down to 25NL.I ran pretty well at 25NL 2tabling. I didn't put in a lot of hands, very little actually since I was very tired for a week aswell so I couldn't play at all that week. I got up to about 1425$ before I started running like hell at 25NL aswell and due to that dropped a little over 10 BIs. Pretty unfortunate to end February like this. I just checked my BR. I'm down to 1190$ so I dropped 185$ in february. I'm so glad I got a bonus and rakeback...Of course I could focus on the bad things here and say I ran 446$ below expectation. I'm not gonna. I'm very happy with february. Very very very happy actually. I feel like my game is sooo much better. It's improved tons during this month. I've become much more comfortable playing postflop. I find myself much less often in tough spots and if I do I usually know what I did wrong after I review the hand after the session. I've also become extremely mentally stable. Thanks to the confidence a friend gave me and thanks to Tommy Angelo's Elements of Poker. These things have helped me a lot controlling my tilt and I've tilted extremely little the 2nd half of february.March Goals:-Put in 21k hands. 700 a day is doable.-Continue 3-tabling for now. See how it goes and maybe move to 4 near the end of March.-Make the move to 50NL at 1.5k. Succesfully this time!!-Profit 810$, bringing BR up to 2k$. Easily attainable. Just don't wanna set the bar too high this month.-Read 'The Poker Mindset' and 'Your Worst Poker Enemy'.-Qualify for the final 6max NLHE CR MTT Final and play well in it.-Further improve both A-Game and C-Game wise.

February GoalsAlot more life goals this month:Housemates and I need to fix our housing problem.Continue getting fitFinally get re-enrolled officially at uni (Feb 20th is enrollment date)Finish my interesting projectPlay some quality poker. Hopefully become comfortable enough to move up to 200nl. No hand or goal profit, just try and play what is comfortable, play most days.
DoneNot so much done, needs more workDoneLast two were not even close to done, I played about 500 hands of poker, and did no work on the other thing.Uni starts back Monday. I've been a really bad student in the past, but I know if I apply myself I can do well. I'm semi-seriously aiming for a distinction average this semester. No actually I am aiming for a distinction average. This month is all about confidence. I'm also going to TP/MT this month. A girlfriend would also be nice, so I'll try and put myself out there, and socialise a bit more. GoalsActually study, start working on distinction averageA decent number of hands, this will probably depend on how many hands I can play before uni, as I've decided that will be the best time to playcrushbe sociableGoal is still to be supernova in a reasonable amount of time this year, I don't think I can do this, with the volume I play, at 100nl, but I'll try my hardest, and work on moving up fairly quickly.

cuernavaca is pretty sweet dusty. Have fun. I liked it there. Going to the mall costs you like $2. It's the nuts.unfortunately the internet when I was there like 5 years ago sucked balls. Hopefully it's better now.dominos is the nuts over there. They seriously deep fry the hell out of your pizza, mmmm! There's some restaurant I walked by that had rows and rows of chickens roasting. They didn't have many customers but it looked good!Mexicans love their Nirvana apparently. At the arcade, someone was always playing a Nirvana song. And Mexicans dominate Marvel vs Capcom 2. Try at your own risk!

February Goals:Play 30k handsProfit 7kHopefully play a few FTOPS eventslife goals..start saving for baby and new houseget taxes doneexercise!Feb. Results:Played 22.5k hands which I'm pretty happy with but I feel like I can play a lot more in March. Won 5.3k which I am really happy with and I'm not sure why I set my goal for 7k. If I include rakeback and bonus I probably cleared 6.1k or so. Played one FTOPS event and don't remember what happened but I didn't cash. Here is my graph.. it's almost all from 100nl HU.. if I would have only played HU for the entire month I would have probably met my money goal. I played about 200 hands of 200nl HU and got hit and run by a donk who sucked out in a 500 bb pot. Posted ImageLife goals.. I did start saving a little bit for the baby.. I got my taxes done but haven't been able to exercise because I hurt my knee at the beginning of the month. March Goals:35k hands6k profit I'm playing 3 WSOP circuit events at Caesars AC (if anyone is coming let me know) so I'd like to play well/get deep in those.I'd like to continue playing super focused and going over my HH's every day and watching leggo videos.

My goal is to stop losing money at poker, and work out how to acctualy think a decision through instead of randomly clicking the bet/raise button and pretending i'm a poker player. No statistical goals as i'd be happy if i manage to still have any bankroll by the end of the month.
