For any Chiefs fans, who do we want in this draft (08)? Or do we trade down?
I say take Matt Ryan if he is there. Otherwise trade down.
Jake Long, Chris Long, or Glenn Dorsey would be acceptable.

I agree Brodie is not the answer. Hopefully they take Ryan if he is available. Im not sure about the other two.
It was a tough decision. I went Chiefs because of the cool thread title. Something to rally around.

The Chiefs need an O-Line, a secondary, two linebackers, a reciever or two, a fullback, and a kicker. Maybe another d lineman. And a Quarterback (Croyle or otherwise).
Other than that, they are set.

I actually think Croyle can be successful in Herm's dink and dunk type offense, IF he can stay healthy. The biggest factor in his health being the O-Line, obviously. That being said, if Ryan is available, I wouldn't be upset if they took him.
As for Peterson, I think the writing is on the wall that he is just riding out his contract (3 years left I think), and Herm is in more control now, letting go all of those "over-the-hill" players last week.
Anyone know much about Demorrio Williams, the LB they signed a few days ago?

O-line is our biggest need and it's not close. Give Brodie time to throw and a running game to work with and then judge him.

If you cant beat out Damon Huard in preseason, you aint worth shit.

I'm pretty sure the plan was all along to start Huard and slowly transition to Croyle during the season.

QFT
But, from draft day, I've believed Brodie Croyle = Kyle Boller

Im pretty sure they wanted Brodie to win it. They gave him every oppurtunity and he was awful. Radio guys here were pretty adament that Brodie lost it. Or at least didnt win it win given the chance.

Thats not really saying much. Maybe Brodie has it, maybe not. But It cant hurt to look at drafting another QB.
