brvheart 1,768
"ESPN said late Tuesday it was parting ways with longtime football analyst Sean Salisbury. The surprise announcement came only hours after the network announced its hiring of Cris Carter from HBO’s Inside the NFL. “Sean Salisbury has made many contributions to our efforts for the past 12 years. We thank him and wish him all the best,” said ESPN spokesman Bill Hofheimer."We can only hope that Chris Collinsworth is next. Smith just blusters and screams over whoever he happens to be being interviewed by/debating with and Stuart Scott pretty much just sits there and quotes awful rap songs as the highlights play. Does anyone think that if they'd never lost Dan Patrick/Craig Kilborn/Keithe Olberman that Scott would even have a job? He's so bad.
Oziumrules 0
I liked Sean. I dont like Bayliss. Carter sucks also. He doesnt know how to finish a sentence. Im done.
Buckeye Hughes 0
I think this sucks. I like Sean, especially the work he did on the radio. I think it is much harder to be a host on a sports radio program like ESPN where there are basically no callers. Sean always did a great job on Gamenight and he was great on Dan Patrick's show. For those of you who don't like him, why? Also I hate Stephen A and Skip Bayless too.

zimmer4141 0
I really don't have a problem with Sean Salisbury. I don't think there's anybody that can make NFL Live a good show, and he does as good a job as anybody.

SuitedAces21 2,741
He sucked at his job. Good riddance.I just want to say to Stephen A, "Why are you yelling at me, dude?" "You need to retard your anger level a few notches."
BigDMcGee 3,367
I don't know why, but for some reason I love Stephen A. He cracks me up. The network needs more Max Kellerman, though, he was my favorite. I listen to his New York sports radio show every day, and I hate NY sports teams.

custom36 5
Woody PaigeI love woody. He's funny and, despite his on-TV character (no doubt to get more TV time) he's very smart. I actually have a friend who interned for him 2 years ago and said he's the nicest guy you'll ever meet or work for. Jay Mariotti, on the other hand....
BigDMcGee 3,367
Kellerman quit ESPN. Worst decision he ever made as his show on FSN flopped.Well, he had his own show on fox, instead of playing ring master for the mariotii circus... it didn't work, but it was a good gamble on his part. His radio show is on ESPN New york, and he does boxing stuff for them, I think. I love Kellerman. He was the first guy in the main stream media who talked about the favre hype. After listening to his show, I've realized he's incredibly intelligent, he's just really goofy. He can't speak in clear and concise sentences so that means it takes him 3 days to make a point that should have taken 10 seconds.

But seriously, can we all agree on wishing Jay Mariotti ass cancer? I Swear to god, when I was in Chicago, they had some of the most bitter, mean spirited writers ever, Mariotti. skip bayless was at the tribune, and who was that one guy in the tribune, who wrote that one basically gossip sports column, kinda like a tri weekly hollywood update for sports? Veener Schnitz 0
I don't think my life would survive without Around the Horn and PTI everyday from 5pm-6pm. Also, I do enjoy watching/listening to Mike and Mike in the morning.
