I'm looking for opinions on this hand, did I play properly or should I have laid it down ? table was very LAG with people paying the wrong prices on draws hence my decision to become involved. I had a good read on things in my mind, though once a few got busted out by me and new players show up I didn't slow down to get a handle on things. Please post and or flame away. i saw him at the riverbank. he was breaking bread and giving thanks. with crosses made of pipes and planks. leaned up against the nitrous tanks.
he said take a hit. hold your breath and i'll dunk your head. then when you wake up, you'll be high as hell and born again.

Is UTG the type that would raise with KQs? If not, there's nothing possibly out there that can beat you. (KXs, q10s???). Since you posted, I'm assuming he had a bettter flush though so I guess you're beat. I hope to read that he was a donk min raising AA on preflop to get more action and caught a set and you took him for a lot of money. To absolute: would you have suggested he folded a hand like 89s to this min raise? I would probably have folded 69s, but I would play 89s. This still would have put me in the same situation though on the flop as the hand values are the same. For the hand.. Why is he betting a nut flush on the flop if no one has shown any aggression? (Is this the way he would play it?) I could very well be protecting his hand and feels like you're semi bluffing the flop with a flush draw, or he may have the nutflush draw. So many things in my head put u ahead and only one puts you behind. I would have played the hand the same way after the flop. If you're beat, you're beat. Just tough luck.

I'm willing to post hands good or bad and listen/learn, if not I should keep to myself right. 8) In this case UTG had K spades J hearts and was playing a draw . I had watched many hands without getting involved much and felt I had an idea about his style.A few more of the hands I post won't end as well probably due to poor play on my part. I was up 675 at one point and got out up 215. Things are improving, a few months ago I would have lost everything and bought more. My current 5-6 week run is very positive but I want to improve and look at long term versus 5-6 weeks.
