This would have been a great post for the general poker section. I'm just a lowly lurker/when I remember the direct quote from SSHE poster/questioner. However, the reason I come here is because there are numerous knowledgeable players who help people here without the BS of the General forum.Please don't try and ruin the best part of the FCP forums.

no, its just a dumb post no matter which way you look at it. "wanting to get flamed" is one of the lamest excuses I've ever heard.

Why is the poll 9-5 in favor of AK?TT is a large favorite over AK (about 59% to 41% I believe).

because of the hands you're likely against. TT is a larger dog than AK against JJ, QQ, and KK. The only hands you would be more inclined to take the tens with is against lower PP's and marginally over AQ and AK. However, most of the time when facing an all-in its TT-AA and AK, where overall AK is better than TT.
