Burger Bar at Mandalay BayIf you're looking for an insane Burger and a pitcher of beer and you're not afraid to drop some money for a a piece of meat between some bread, this is the place to go. I've only been there twice, if you're feeling insane you can try the Kobe burger with Foie Gras and shaved truffles. I'm all about paying for good food but I don't think I'll be spending $60 on a burger again, it felt like I was slapping a starving kid in the face with a Japanese imported steak. For less than half the price and twice the flavor get the Surf and Turf, it's unbelievable.If that doesn't make your mouthwater then I don't know what will..8. Bonito Michoacan.Off the strip is always nice, when I'm feeling like I need something to remind me of home I always drive 5 minutes away and order the "Queso Fundido" as the appetizer, a Bohemia Beer, and a nice main course. It's not as good as something you'll have in Mexico but it's the closest I've had here in Vegas. It's also great for hangovers, I go there on almost a weekly basis.7. Spago at Caesar's PalaceI'm pretty sure it's mentioned on "Entourage" every other episode. If that won't convince you to go, Maybe Wolfgang Puck himself can.6. Naked Fish'sIf I get a text message from Steve Sung that says "yo are you in Vegas?" I know the very next one will say "Lets go eat at Naked Fish" . Very good sushi, Very good service and a huge plus for being off the strip. Number 6 and 5 can definitely be swapped, both have their up sides.5. Kaizen SushiGreat Sushi……open till 4 am daily ……Happy hour from 12-4 am……need I say more?4. FireFly Tapas KitchenI've been there once and it's already one of my favorite places. It got points for being off the strip, being open late, Trendy, hot girls, good Spanish music, and good food……oh and you can get pitchers of Mojito….take a cab, I'm glad I did.3. Japonais at MirageI'm sure by now you can tell I love sushi, this place is great, kind of expensive but order their best bottle of Sake and you won't care.2. Craftsteak at MGMOMG. Expensive as ****, but by far the best steak house I've ever been to. It wins the prize for best Lobster Bisque I've ever had and for best Kobe beef I've ever had. Go with friends, Roulette for the bill and pray to the god that you don't lose. Thanks Tom ;-) .1. FIX and Stack…..the comboI had a tough time deciding what the best restaurant I've been to was, so I decided that instead of ranking Stack in sixth and FIX at number one or two I'd just list the two sister restaurants as number 1, because two is always better than one right? FIX is at Bellagio and the other at Mirage, FIX get's a 10 in in food, atmosphere, class, service and in location. Right next to the poker room makes it a favorite amongst poker players when the day ends in a tournament or when you're celebrating your final table. Best appetizers on earth, often you won't have room for a main course. If you're still hungry for desert you can stuff your face with the sickest doughnuts ever. As for Stack, it looks just like fix, but the menu is a bit different, appetizers are still the best thing they have try the hot rock or the tiny hot dogs, really good stuff. Unfortunately the two times I went there the service was terrible. It takes the prize for smallest tip I've ever left in a restaurant, but I'm sure she enjoyed her dollar. Aside from that, the food is awesome in both restaurants and you'll definitely love them.Quick honorable mentions:-24/7 Café at Palms has the best spinach and artichoke dip I've ever had, that alone makes it worth visiting.-RM Seafood at Mandalay is very very good.-Shinatro at Bellagio, you'll be missed….If it hadn't closed down a month or two ago I'd have it in my top 3, the place was awesome. On the plus side the owners of FIX are putting a "FIX" style sushi restaurant that I'm almost positive will blow away any sushi restaurant there is….I cant wait.Anyway, If you're in town now you know where to go, enjoy and send me some recommendations if you've had something better.JCPS- If you happen to manage or own one of these restaurants and want to give me free meals for the plug, I'll gladly take them. Beef and cheddar is often my casino drive home meal. Delmonico (Emeril's Steakhouse @ Venetian).We eat there every trip to Vegas, without fail.Little Buddha (Chinese @ The Palms).Great food, great atmosphere!Eat there alot as well.

I have ate at exactly 0 of JC's restraunt list. I did eat at Wolfgang Pucks restraunt at the MGM but not sure how close that is to the Spago menu.My favesEmerils N.O. Fishouse at the MGM grand. Have eaten here several times and have always been satisfied. I have had the crabcakes, barbecue shrimp, grilled fish. My favorite menu item is the seafood pan roast, its a seafood jambalya with 2 medalions of blackened fish on top. The lobster bisque is also incredible here. The bananna cream pie is pretty much the best dessert you will ever have.Mesa Grill at Caesars. Only been once but it was also very good. The southwest flavors in his food are so good.In n out. If you dont have one near you a stop at one in Vegas is always mandatory.Best buffet imo is Planet Hollywoods Spice Market. Wynns Breakfast spread is fantastic but $20(I have also had the dinner but was dissapointed.Grand Luxe is the best 24 hour joint on the strip. The prices for what you get is outstanding considering its in a 5 star resort and about 1.5 minute walk from my favorite Vegas pokerroom.

Hugo's Cellar at the Four Queens (Downtown Las Vegas) is the best restaurant I've ever eaten in. The food is phenomenal, the service impeccable, and the prices reasonable. You can beat one or two in Vegas, but not all three. My wife and I have gone there during both of our stays in Vegas, and I expect we'll go there every time we go for the rest of our days. My favorite dish is the Hot Rock Specialty Plate, it's chicken, shrimp, beef and swordfish cooked and served at the table on a hot slab of granite. Very cool, very tasty. I also had dinner with my wife at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant (Paris, obv), and it was an outstanding meal, but also the most expensive meal for two I've ever encountered (not counting the $50 I dropped on two glasses of champagne, the total bill was around $300). Still, you get one of the best views in Vegas to go with your meal, and the service and food were outstanding. Most of the other places I've been to eat were throwaways, haven't really had the whole "Vegas culinary experience" since my wife and I would both prefer to be gambling our money than spending it on food for the most part. Not into sushi, and she's not into seafood at all which kinda limits the menus in Vegas. I'm still looking to eat at some of the premier steakhouses out there, but I have another 40 years of Vegas trips to fit that into the itinerary.

In and Out was a pretty decent fast food burger, but it didn't quite live up to the hype. Great shake though.Prime was a damn good meal, and it had better be too, it was pricey.Nothing else was remarkable that I remember. Next time I promise to try the beer, beans. PROMISE.

I am a huge fan of Emeril's fish house...I've ordered the tasting menu every time and never been diaappointed.The noodle bar at venetian is another favorite...they have some weird stuff on the menu and I haven't been through it all as yet, so I'm going to keep going until I taste all of it.Gallagher's at NYNY...by far the best steak I've had and their sides are incomperable. (get the cowboy steak...bone in ribeye so you can get back to your neanderthal roots).

I liked Mesa grill when i was there, and I really can't wait to hit firefly when I go next have heard a lot about that place and I love Latin steak houses Argentinian usually being the best from experience.

i do mainly buffets while i'm in vegas, mainly because it's faster than waiting for an entire meal and when we go our schedules are usually really, really tight. I have had the opportunity for a few "nicer" meals while there. Inside the Riviera (which is where we stay b/c of the pool tourney we go to) is this little Italian restaurant. The food is actually really good and it has a very cozy, romantic atmosphere. Since it's on the "bottom" end of the strip, it's a bit out of the way, but IMO worth checking out. The prices are a little high, but still reasonable for vegas meal. I love the buffet at the Bellagio, if nothing else there, the dessert bar is definately worth the cheesecake experience alone.

And QFT: Breakfast sandwich. or sunday night pasta.also, Terrace point at wynn is 24 hours, I eat there or grandluxe like 4 times a week. and have never been dissapointed.I also liked fireflyand I know there are a few other great restaurants at Venetian, but i havent had a chance to hit them up yet.
