jp10550 0
We have some players that call for five card omaha h/l on their deal if there aren't too many players. Five card is nothing new but a year or two ago we started having a couple of guys playing "five card reverse" (you have to play 3 out of your hand with 2 on the board instead of 2 hand and 3 board). Is this a common game or some junk thats not played anywhere? I don't really like it, but play whats dealt. One guy will even call reverse four card, but that builds so little of a pot not popular with other players. And what do you move your starting hands to on reverse 5 card? Of course A23, but do you go to A24, A34, etc and what about high, what would you want to be your mimium starting?
rvrchsrhtr 0
In our home game someone occasionally will deal a game called fiftyfour which is five down 4 on the board and you have to use 3 in your hand with 2 on the board. In this game I try to start with 3 to a flush or 3 connected or trips in the hole. In the HL version of the game I would say A23 A24 A34 and suited would be optimal
