Could be catching cards, could be switching gears, I have been pretty card dead & therefore have nitty image. One thing to note is that the previous hand I lost a $100 pot to villian when my AA ran into a J J 6 - 2 -10 board and villian raised my turn bet & led out all-in on river, I folded as he was repping a J.Hero SB A K Folds to villian (button), villian raises to $6, Hero raises to $21, SB folds, BB folds, Villian calls $15.Flop: A J 8 Hero bets $35, villian calls £35.Turn: 7 Hero ? Unless you put him on exactly 9-10 (unlikely since he called a re-raise pre) or A-J (slightly more likely since he's aggro) then you should bet $85 to $95... Link to post Share on other sites

Surely KK re-pops preflop. and if he doesnt repop KK, he probably folds the flop same with QQbesides the fact that hero posted villain as starting to loosen up, I dont see what other hands he could be playing this way?I opt to c/c here 90% of the time. Acid_Knight 2 Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 For those saying "T9 got there", you do realize that this player called a sizable 3 bet preflop and unless you've seen him calling with suited connectors, I would wager that those don't make up a ton of his range. Also, if T9 got there, QT didn't, so :PSimo's right. Just bet/call. C/Cing is bad becuase we're losing a lot of value from the many hands that are worse than ours. Realistically, we should only be beaten on that flop by AJ/JJ and 88. Online, you should never feel too bad if you get your $$ in here with AK. Link to post Share on other sites

I appreciate your comments. here is what happened,I fired $75 on the turn which after evaluating the hand afterwards looks kinda scared and villian pushed all-in, I only had about $70 left and was getting 4.5/1 so made the call. I don't like to shovel when I could be drawing dead on the turn. I don't like shoving on the turn. What is it the pocket5s people say ... a turn raise/shovel usually means one pair is no good? Online, you should never feel too bad if you get your $$ in here with AK.it was a button raise. in short handed games, people make button steals with a large range. hero re-poped, and button made a loose call, But suited connectors play like small PP to a lot of people, and they'll call a lot of raises pf to try and stack off if they hit.for once I actually agree with mtdesmoines in a thread. I wrote 6 months, which i think is also a fair assessment.and comparing 50k hands online in 1 month vs 6 months of live play is impossible. Link to post Share on other sites
