We are down to the final 4 of a 10 person NLHE tourney. Buy in was only $10 bucks but to a bunch of poor college kids thats pretty steap. Add to the fact that we allowed some rebuys through the first hour and that pumped that pot up to about 150. It was decided after the buy backs the payout would be 100 35 15. I'm sitting in 2nd place but we all were pretty close in chips.I'm the BB with AA and after a limper play moves to the dealer who moves all-in with KsJs and that was just music to my ears. SB folds to me and I raise the last 1/4 of my stack since I had to call 3/4 of it. I didn't want to see the limper call cause I know no matter what they had my odds would decrease. Odds before the flop were 81.9% to me. Anyway the limper folded and the flop comes 3s 9h 3d. Pretty much a perfect flop for me. My odds are now 94.2% in my favor. At this point there is only 3 scenarios for me fear and they all involve runner runner. 1 was the JJ, 2 was the KK, and 3 was the spade spade. Turn comes a J which elimates 2 of the 3 scenarios and the flush one that I was most afraid of. Odds are now 95.5% in my favor. 2 outs for me to dodge and I'm a pretty big chip leader. But of course this is the bad beat section so what came? Thats right...a J. After that I was short stack and the blinds pretty ate me up so I finished in 4th and outta the $$$.
