I know I'm in the minority on this forum, but I actually like this show. It entertains me. I really like it when they get a few comedians on there and couple of good looking women.I dont see why people complain when this show is obviousely not about the poker. It's like someone reading the National Enquirer and then complaining about the crappy reporting. Its entertainment folks. It a hell of a lot more entertaining than that Superstars tournament they keep showing on Fox Sports (that thing puts me to sleep).I tune in to get some laughs and watch some poker on the side. Besides its fun to see Phil Gordon point out all the obvious mistakes and see him get all worked up.

I like to watch it if for no other reason, then to see the sad little celebrities sitting in "loser lounge". The way they cram them onto those couches and make them watch the rest of the game makes me smile :-) .

Yes but Colin Quinn used the reverse reverse REVERSE math guy things at least twice with surprisingly good results. Alot of their plays are false advertising so that they can get you later for the big pots.I mean come on, can Lance Bass really be that stupid? It must be a subtle play meant to put us at ease.I'm staying far away from him, Colin and that guy from the Lakers that wears dresses. And cut some slack on them for being put on learn all those uber technical poker things like the difference between call, raise and check. That's like 3rd year stuff they are expected to know after only what, two or three hours of practise games. Man, you are a hard task master!

Watching this show kind of angers me. That ****ing ignoramus from Everybody Loves Raymond is a complete jerk off. Brad whatever the **** his name is. These idiots get all liqoured up, think they're being cute and start to yell nonsense to the crowd. ****. They should let me re-work the format and I'll give this show the shot of adrenalin that it really needs. I'd have each player consume a bottle of Jack during the game and just berate the audience for two hours. We'll have a bad beat jackpot that can be won by whoever is currently involved in the pot when I drunkenly punch Phil Gordon in the teats. The play ends whenever Jason Alexander throws up on the dealer. Whoever is chip leader at that point wins.Ferreal Ferreal.

While I do hate Celebrity Poker, I do admit to laughing myself into a headache from one of them.It had Ryan Stiles, Tony Hawk, Dennis Rodman, and I don't remember who else. But Ryan Stiles was the first one eliminated, so he's sitting in the Losers Lounge watching them, and Tony Hawk is dealt AKo. He's contemplating what to do, so Ryan Stiles leans back and yells out, "TONY, I CAN SEE THEIR CARDS, MOVE ALL-IN!". Everyone in the studio hears him, Hawk moves all in, and everyone else folds.I couldn't stop laughing after that. Sheer brilliance.

Saw Phil Gordon playing Pot Limit Omaha on FTP the other night. Someone asked him if there were any good players on the new season of Celebrity Poker. He said no. ha!Way to sell the show. P.S. I've watched a few pros on FTP lately....god these people are boring. I'm glad DN has some personality.

His name is Dennis Rodman...
There was madness in any direction, at any hour…You could strike sparks anywhere. There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning…. And that, I think, was the handle-that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn’t need that. Our energy would simply prevail. There was no point in fighting-on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave….So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark-that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.

I hate that Hollywood Dave guy from the Ultimate Bet poker show, which also sucks ass.
