goose 0 Posted February 9, 2008 Share Posted February 9, 2008 A lot of bold claims are made on this forum, and I thought it might be fun to have a venue for people to post their best and worst predictions of the past.I'll start off with mine; being the heavy investment I put into Backstrom, which not a few people felt was over-payment. Backstrom is second in rookie scoring currently with 44 points. It's also kind of lost that I got Jere Lehtinen out of that deal, who I turned into Loui Eriksson and Valterri Filpulla (If we want to get into the worst trades, we can look at what I traded Erikkson for lol).Also, for Serge, don't forget our $100 bet that within the next three years Backstrom will have a 70 point season and Sanguinetti will have a 35 point season. Backstrom's on pace for 65 points this season, so it looks pretty likely he'll hold up his half of it. Sanguinetti is one point off the overall OHL defence scoring lead right now and leads the league in defenceman goals. Link to post Share on other sites
