Ah, good point.I'd go all in. It may be a bit reckless, but if you check, either he's going to make a large bet or you're going to give him a free card.

T3,000 seems like a good number.Probably curse and fold to a raise. If he just calls I check/call the river no matter what...*I think*.

I think you have to push it all-in here. The guy hasn't shown any agression, so I ccan't see him having made his hand (A K, A queen, maybe a pocket pair like queens or tens). If he slow played with a jack, pocket 8's, or pocket aces, so be it, but I would hate to give them a free card to catch an ace or whatever they are looking for here. He has you covered, but I can't see him wanting to cut his stack in half on a draw here.

I agree with the push in. You're committed to the pot, and you are no where close to the money yet.
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

I feel you have to push since you're not that far ahead in chips. the call, call preflop makes me think that he might have a smaller pair and is figuring you for aK AQ. The smooth call on the flop may be him Thinking he's ahead and feeling like you don't have a J, so he can call for the bluff on the turn or the river.

I actually bet 3,000 on the turn, he smooth called the bet.River was a 2I thought about checking the river, but decided what's the use (I'm committed) and fired out my last 4,700. He beat me with Q J o.He didn't have the nut hand but I still felt like Eric Seidel against Johnny Chan just getting called all the way down.
