pezeveng 207
I would appreciate any help regarding this. Anytime I do auto update on my computer it seems my computer gets very slow and stops me from visiting various websites and will not allow me to go to my netscape email. I did system restore and everything is fine until that dreaded update than my computer goes to hell again. I did system restore for the 3rd time in a week and turned off the auto update function. As long as I don't get any windows updates my computer is fine. Should I leave this funtion off and never update? Or is there one update in particular thats messing up my computer?thanks for any infoVISTA SUCKS.
gobears 0
You should post this in the ouch thread. Vista sucks but I have to live with it. I actually had the problem of getting the new blue screen of death after an update so I restored like you did.I then went and downloaded some urgent updates off of the Dell website, the most important one was the BIOS update which seemed to fix the problem as the updates seem to be going ok now. HollywoodAFD 0
Just don't vista because its an overrated piece of shite?LOL...that was funny. Anyhow, OT -- you can't avoid Vista. It's here...it's gonna stay, atleast until the next one comes out.I have been one of the lucky ones I guess cuz all my updates have gone well. The only issues I have seen from others is the memory issue. Don't even try to run Vista with little memory. Get BIG memory...go 2gig.
