I still shove. It think we can still win this right now. The button can be raising with a medium overpair if he thinks that the PFR is playing too fast.If it turns out he has a set, we get our money in as a 2:1 dog with some dead money in. That's not so bad.

I agree with this. Especially if the button is taking into account that the CO has been out of line, his range can be kind of wide here and you certainly can have some fold equity. Otherwise, even if you're called, you have to assume 11 outs to the nuts, and you might have 12 or 15 outs.So a raise is in order and no other bet aside from shoving makes sense.

things i like: vs a large range of over cards and overpairs. we are actually a favorite 3 way. a shove can win us the pot outrightif we get called by our shove, we can still a coinflipwe know c/o is lag, and button's range can widen because of thisthings i dont like:our % doesnt change much at all if we're HU or 3 way.a shove probably only gets called by a set.if we get called by a set we're a 2-1 underdog getting much less than 2-1 on our money.we have no reads on buttonI dont have a final decision yet on this hand. I'm going to stick with puking for now.

I don't know what you mean by this. If we can get it AI 3 ways, we have a huge equity edge in this hand. Our % to hit our outs doesn't change (unless someone has a worse FD) but with 3 players in there and all of our draws (the gutshot and the flush) essentially being the nut draws, then we'd love to have both players call all in as opposed to just one of them. Essentially, if we assume we win the pot like 40% of the time against their range (s) and we have that 40% equity in the pot regardless, we'd obviously love to have 40% of a 300BB pot as opposed to 40% of a 200BB pot when our investment is capped at a certain amount.

I think the ranges here for both villains are extraordinarily broad. If it's me, I smooth call and see what CO does with the information when it all comes back around to him. If he calls, fine, we've got a huge pot building called with the right odds for us, two great draws, and the option of bailing if the board pairs on the turn. If he folds, (which he isn't doing unless he's got complete air), and we've stopped action on this round, it's good and bad, I guess. If he raises/shoves, I'll think that he's got an overpair or a set or two pair, etc. If he shoves, I think hero has to shove too, not just because of good odds, but because of the action (bet, raise, shove) you almost have to put both on a set and/or two pair or something like that ... which means our spade outs more heavily populate the deck and the villains are stealing board pairing outs from each other. I love our spot here, because we control everything with a very strong flop for our hand.

You said it's bad for us, when it's a good thing for us. Hence my confusion and wondering if you were referring to something else.

Pretty sure I can't call here being OOP, and I'm more sure that I can't fold.So a shove seems like the best option, and just believe, it'll come.

i shove, but i do it with my eyes closed for style points
I shove, but when I do, I knock my chair over when I jump out of my seat getting all of my chips in the pot, and then shout I SHOVE, I SHOVE, I SHOVE, WHATEVER YOU BET, I SHOVE. SHOVEL.

Hero shoves, CO instacalls, Button thinks then reluctantly calls, CO flips 55, Button flips 22.Turn is the 4c, river is the Ks though :club: ah well...To make a semi-long story short, hero rebuys and stacks CO within a few hands in a flopped nut flush vs flopped 2nd nut flush situation. weee. Later on hero's buddy shows up and we drink and play 1/2NL drunkaments which are always fun and I garner 3.5 buyins as well as felting a douchebag who was telling people why they were incorrect for calling mathwise and yelling at some guy for asking him what he had after a hand, etc. Good times. Thanks for the help with this one, I'm no good at the maths so I wanted to make sure my shove was proper aside from my guess that it was.

This is literally the best situation you could ask for. Both players are blocking each other's outs and you have as many live outs as you could hope for.Your equity AI in the 3-way pot: 36%
