mhoward29 0 Posted February 1, 2008 Share Posted February 1, 2008 Im looking now at the tourney schedule. Looks like there will be a $330, $1080 for NLH and $540 for O8. I can never bring myself to pay such a big buy in for a tourney but these are really great starting chips. Does anyone know the structure for these? Maybe Royal Tour? Also if he reads this, what other daily tournies do you suggest? I am going to play Ceasars and Venetian for cash game also. I have never played at these two rooms.Edit: Also, my wife doesnt like me spending this much for a tournement either cuz I do so much better in cash games and have only won 1 100+ person tournement and FT only a couple of others. mx957 0 Posted February 1, 2008 Share Posted February 1, 2008 I think the blind levels were 40 minutes, break after every three levels (so every 2 hours). I don't remember the blind level increments though. I didn't get short stacked until after dinner. I like the Ceasar's tourney as well. Cashed in it last year. Royal_Tour 0 Posted February 1, 2008 Share Posted February 1, 2008 Hey,ya i'll be there all month rocking it!they wil be running satelites for most of these probably everyday.. they usually start the sat's by 9:30am. the deep stack extravaganza will be 10k starting, and I heard rumor of hour long levels. that would be sick. if they do it.also, venetian usually runs a daily 150.00 at noon. Its good. 7500 starting chips, and 30 min levels. plus 1 extra level of 100/200 the 100/200 with 25 anteand a 500+40 on friday & saturday's with 10 man sat;s starting at 130 with top 2 getting seats caesars tourneys didnt really do it for me. I found their structure a bit too quick. I tink the one a bunch of us FCP'ers played was a 120+30 daily. which is a ridiculous admin fee.the stack was 5k, and blind went up every 40 mins. but they doubled like 25/50 50/100 100/200 , 200/400, 400/800 ( I think) Link to post Share on other sites

The room is stuffed anyways with the deep stack tourneys. Maybe get up early and try a satty. Of course the day is a total right off if you go fairly deep.
