my first bad beat in NL live play at the casino went as follows:3rd position raises to like 8 bucks player in seat 5 calls...i look down at pocket 3's i call since im on the button...flop comes 883...everyone checks to me i bet the pot...both call...so now the pot is around 75 bucks next card is a Q...checks around to me again...this time i bet 50...first player thinks for a while and calls other player folds...river 4...board is 883Q4...this time he bets like 25 bucks to me...im so confused right now how the pot is around 175 and he only bets 25...so i call in my state of confusion...he says sorry and flips up 88.. great i flop a boat the other guy flops quads...oh well i know i should have lost more money than i did...cant wait to go at it again..just felt like sharing
