vervius 0 Posted January 30, 2008 Share Posted January 30, 2008 not sure if i would have bet on the river, kind of says "i have a set" or so my limited experience says. in a situation like that, set with an ok kicker, i like to think "win an ok bit or lose the least." ive netted myself before at a b&m throwing in my stack with only an ok kicker to run into someone with an ace kicker.you couldn't easily put him on the draw but when there's one out there i like to be a bit careful. the fact that he was willing to double barrel and then reraise you means he, at the very least, has the same set.hope that helped but i don't think the play itself was too terrible for a slow play.tough one yo.
