I had seen this guy limp in LP with big kings before, he is TAG, but not a very good one. Unless you're planning to lead the flop regardless, or hoping to flop a completed flush, completing there just seems like a waste of 100 chips to me.

I agree you should just fold pf... Your stack isn't deep enough to want to see flops oop with hands like this, so save the 100 chips. Calling isn't a horrible mistake though...Shoving the turn was pretty bad though... You definitely can't fold, but why raise? You really expect him to call you with an Ace kicker or pocket pair there? Just call the 400 and check/call the river... In a hand like this you are either drawing almost dead or way ahead, and you aren't getting called by a worse hand unless he's stupid. Just call the turn and try to induce a bluff/keep the pot small/lose the minimum if he has the king. Shoving the turn is a VERY bad play imo.

I could argue that I was getting nearly 6:1 but to be honest you are right. I felt I should have folded.

I think I just shoved out of frustration without thinking it through.I had a strong feeling he had the king, I had seen him limp in LP with a large king before. I knew he would slowplay the flopped trips in a spot like this. The fact he didn't bet the flop was suspicious. He even took a split second longer than usual to check the flop. And why would he bet that turn with a hand I beat?Part of the reason I posted the thread is because I wanted people to criticize my play. I knew completing was a waste of money and I knew shoving was ridiculously stupid. I had deviated from what I knew was correct play earlier in the game and almost got stacked, so I really don't know what I was thinking here.
