If you're going to lead the flop, then 2/3 the pot (12K) is fine but it typically looks weak. The open raise came from UTG+1 so you have to give him credit for a strong hand and once he raises, I would fold.A stronger play would be to c/r his CB but you're not deep enough to do that without committing a big % of your remaining stack so your options are to c/r, b/f, c/c or c/f. I think that I check/call here if he fires out 12K and see if he's willing to two barrel on the turn. Also, you might pick up something (gut shot, 9) on the turn that will help your hand.

thanks for the info. Sorry that I posted in the wrong place. I am new to the forum, and it was my first time using a hand converter. I think that my best bet here might have been a preflop fold. Unfortunately the small blind is not the place that I want to play an under pair this late in the tourny. The strange things is that I had a very strong since that he didnt have a J. I specifically was going on my read...prob about 80% of my discison on this hand, based on information I had on the player. I put him on AQ or AK from the get go. He simply wouldnt have raised and come into the pot with AJ or KJ. He might have limped, or 2 bet it, like he hand been doing. THanks again

Yeah your flop overbet is bad. The board is very dry, so there's no draw to protect against. If he folds to an overbet, he folds to a smaller bet too. In fact, with a board this dry, I'd probably lead 1/3 to 1/2 the pot, and fold to a raise. Even if he doesn't raise AJ or KJ, he likely raises JJ, QQ, KK, and TT.
