I've been a Simpsons fan for about 15 years...but recently heard my teenagers guffawing like mad in the game room so I had to check it out. FAMILY GUY may be one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Check you maturity cloak at the front door and just enjoy it.We bought the first few seasons on DVD... no idea how long this has been on TV. I think it has been for a few years atleast.

heh, what they said. But in his defense, most people's parents have no clue what family guy is. I think my parents just watched it for the first time over Christmas (because I had it on). Probably happens a lot.

There's gold in San Francisco. I'm rounding up a team of miners and we are going to head out in a few weeks to get rich. WHO'S IN??
I'm down. Also, I think there is this new company called Microsoft-anyone think it is a good investment?

No offense, OP, but is this thread for real? Anyone remember the first 8 months of this forum, where at least 65% of the posters had FG avatars? And that was no where near representative of the percentage of assholes in every dorm room in America who were bent over at the waist with Family Guy-boners. The show's hype really took a lot away from it, once it hit Cartoon Network.

On a separate note, I just bought Star Wars: Blue Harvest-the family guy parody of A New Hope, and it is great. It is hilarious and it comes with a digital copy that you can put into your iphone. I watched a couple of the extras, which included an interview with Geroge Lucas-he really likes Family Guy. For every Star Wars moment in any Family Guy episode, Family Guy needs to get permission from Star Wars and they have always said yes, so they just decided to make this hour long episode.
