Dn's Book And Pocket Jacks

If you haven't read Daniels book Hole em Wisdom for All Players you should. Anyhooo..there's a chapter in it that talks about pocket Jacks and their strength or lack of strength. I just read that earlier and today found myself in a bad position with PJ's. Luckily I got to see the flop cheap but just as the book talked about...I was behind right after that. Sooo..hearing Daniels voice in my head...I got off them. Two hands later.... yep... Pocket Jacks again...same thing... saw the flop and immediatley knew they were no good again. BB bet huge on the flop and most likely had atleast Q's if not higher. Again...hearing the voice..I got off them.Less than 15 minutes later a battle ensues to my right..I'm out with rags... there's a bet...a raise...a re-raise... and a push in.The all-in shows pocket Jacks to pocket queens and I want to yell.. "Read the book !" The flop comes J 10 4... he ends up winning the hand with a set and I'm pissed. LOLI don't doubt what DN talks about in the book at all... nothing is an absolute. It was just ironic that I had JUST read that chapter and saw someone get lucky doing the opposite.What I would have hated even more was if I disregarded what I read...went big on my Jacks and got burned. LOL
