Top spot pays a WSOP seat while places 2 - 15 pay out the same.CO goes all-in basically and button calls.Button is the chip leader by far and willing to mix it up anytimeI folded but thought about calling to see the flop; what would you do?

I think it's too much of your stack to call and see a flop with. Save your chips, the fold is fine.

It costs you 1/3 of your stack to call here, and the most you could do is double up plus t8,000 extra from the CO. In that best case scenario, the implied odds are 7:1, while you will only hit your set about 1/8th of the time. Also, why get mixed up in this hand? The CO most likely has some pair or two big cards. If the big stack takes him out great, if not, no big deal. Wait for a better time to get chips.

I figured that the fold was correct From a results standpoint, I would have hit a boat and made out like a bandit as I'm sure that the chip leader would have called my small stack. This hand would have moved me into the top 10 for sure.I went card dead after this hand and busted out in the 30's fifteen away from the $ as I just got blinded away.

Results are less important then playing correctly imoIt's a medium pair with an allin and a call.No way in heck do you want to get involved here, easy fold

I agree that this is an easy fold here, based on the chip stacks, and your position. Who cares what WOULD have happened had you called, as it would have been a foolish call 7 out of 8 times. It just so happens that it WOULD have been a good result this 1 time.
