There are a few things wrong with this hand, but I agree it was a tough beat. You're UTG with A-10off, that's almost always a fold pre-flop. If you decide to raise it, you need to raise it more than the minimum, which is really a pointless raise to make. On the flop, bet about the size of the pot; you really underbet it. Move in for the rest of your chips on the turn if you have any left. All that being said, once that flop comes, the beat is probably inevitable because I doubt that person would lay down his/her hand, so yeah that sucked. Good luck at the tables.

Thanks for the tips... I knew it was a bad beat I didn't get to bent on it knowing it was a freeroll and she just took a chance instead of just sitting on chips...I experienced like 4 other beats in that tourney and I lost about 50 bucks in an hour playing .50/1.00 on suckouts and bad cases of a calling station... oh well.. What should my bankroll be for 1/2 I'm thinking about jumping up...
If LHE was a woman I'd make passionate love to her. 16 hour sessions at a time.

I really wouldn't jump up. A lot of people think that they need to move up limits to avoid the bad beats given to them at lower limits. Don't. If you can't beat bad players, you won't beat good players. I guarentee it.
