New to live play and first time at this casino. No reads as I was just called from the waiting list. I sat down in late pos with $150 (1/2) and get a hand without posting. The other stacks looked to be around $200.Hero-AJ :D in the cutoff with 5 limpers. I make it $15 and get 5 callers. Flop A :D J :club: K :D Checked to me, bet $50 into $90 pot and get 2 calls. (pot $240)Turn Q :D and the first to act pushes in $125, folds to me. Hero $85 left ?I should mention that the table let out a groan as they saw the queen. Now that I do the math my decision should not have been that hard. Thoughts ?

Sorry, but i just can't see Villian having a 10 in his hand. He called the flop with A10? Thats garbage. What are the odds we need to boat up on the river? The pot is laying us 3 to 1, plus the fact we only have $85 left. I'd feel better just sticking it in trusting my gut that he's betting with his two pair, then reload with a fresh $200 if we're wrong.

If you're implying that he called the flop with KQ/QJ then it's just as likely that he's got AT/KT/QT/JT or a better 2 pair and has us beaten.

True. I guess i'm thinking in terms of what i would not call the flop with, which is far different than most 1-2 players. We've got $85 left. We're actually getting 4 to 1 odds on our $85 investment (which can't be to far off the odds of hitting our boat) so i just stick it here and if he has a 10, so be it, he played it awful and got lucky. Just such a sick first hand at the table thou.

This is what Patrick(Rab) and my wife pointed out to me after the fact. I think I had 6 outs to win and possibly 3 10s to chop. I was a little too nervous to do the correct math at the time. 1 thing though, live 1/2 is a fairly loose game compared to what I am used to. I saw guys calling raises with all sorts of crap.

How on earth could you have 6 outs to win?
