HAND 1Villian 1 is impatient, he got stacked already once and is playing aggressive. Villian 2 is a smart, very LAG player.Effective stacks: Villian 1- $125 Villian 2- $700 Hero $ 240Hero has 3,3Preflop: UTG limps, several calls, Villian 1 raises to 12, Villian 2 calls 12, Hero calls 12 on button, MP calls 12.Pot(~52)Flop: 5s, 4s, 3cMP checks, Villian 1 bets $25, Villian 2 calls $25, Hero calls $25, one folds.Pot (~127)Turn 4dVillian 1 bets $50, Villian 2 calls $50 hesitantly, Hero moves in for $175 approximately. The flop flat was questionable, i know. But i've been card dead and really wanted to build a big pot so i slow played it, even with the draws out there. What do we think about the turn though?Hand 2I observed the table shortly before sitting down, and Villian 1 appears to be aggressive, decent player. He straddled and raised his straddle on one occasion if that means anything. My cards are AK offEffective stacks: Hero and Villian have about $250Preflop: Villian limps EP, two limpers, i'm in the SB so i make it $15, Villian calls, two folds.Flop: Kc, Jc, 9dHero bets $25, Villian calls $25.Turn: 7x Hero checks, Villian bets $45, Hero waits 10 seconds and moves all in for $200 more.

First hand: flat call is awful, you know it, I know it, we all know it. Turn play is standard.Second hand: what is the turn card?

You figure him for a draw, so I like that you made that bitch pay on the turn.

An e-mail from my dad, who is a weekend online super low limit, only for fun player:
"Hey Bud,
What is a "donk"?
I was small blind, had 2 and 3 off suit, with a 100 raise. I called.
Flop was 5, 2, 2. They raised, so I came over the top. We ended up all in and I won.
He asked my how I could call a $100 with a 2 & a 3. My reply was "just hit the call key". I think I ticked them off.
What do you think? That is when he called me a "donk".
Love you
Dad"

What does being card dead have to do with wanting to build a pot?
