If he has Ac in his hand I'd demand my money back from the site...Any reads? Could he be trying to play back at c-bets, if you've made them frequently?As played I don't know. Probably shove and watch the board go club-club as you suck out on 55.

'I don't know'?! Of all the answers I expected from the mighty FCP masses it was not that. I expect this to be swiftly remedied by a terse one-liner about not getting commited to overpairs. As I remember it the guy had a fairly low VP$IP for the limit (mid 20's) but then again I had been c-betting 90%+ of hands so he may have picked that up. Even if we allow for the possibility that he is weak, what do we do?

Call? You have an overpair that beats all of his overpairs and a backdoor Ace high flush. You can't be afraid of sets just because you got played back at on a coordinated board. He doesn't know you have aces.

I dont like potting the flop in these spots.I prbably bet closer to 7.50 or 8 here. more like 75% of the pot. Its just something i've become used to, to try and not define my hand as much.In this spot i think your opponent has a very large range of suited connectors and pairs from 22-10,10/because of that, his min raise could most likely be for info, find out if yu missed with AK. I call this flop, and re-evaluate on the turn.

Then you're a POW. :icon_biggrin:I agree with Royal though...betting $8 or so gives you a bit more leeway, but betting $10's not a huge issue.I call the flop raise and re-eval on the turn. I'd prefer not to dump a bunch of money in against a better hand or huge draw. We'll call this a BA/WB scenario.

hes got an overpair a lot..i wouldnt say that he has a set 100% of the time, nor a straight.i call here and figure it out on the turn

This is a Party Poker HH. I don't know if it's changed much post-UIGEA though.

maybe i suck at full ring, but I remember that back when I played full ring I limped almost all pairs in the hope of taking a flop multiway...i think 77 and 88 are a def limp, 99 is questionable, and 1010+ is a raise.
