psujohn 0
PT has villain as semi-loose/neutral. Something like 35/5/2 (from memory). My read is that he's bad. Don't have enough to know in what ways he's bad but he's certainly not good.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)Hero ($100.50)SB ($35)Preflop: Hero is Button with A , 6 . 3 folds, Hero raises to $2, SB calls $1.75, 1 fold.Flop: ($4.50) 6 , 9 , K (2 players)SB checks, Hero checks.Turn: ($4.50) K (2 players)SB bets $1, Hero calls $1.River: ($6.50) 6 (2 players)SB checks, Hero bets $3, SB raises to $32, Hero On the river I think villain bets if he has a K in his hand so I value bet. He can easily have a 9 or TT or A high hand that he'll pay off with. Once he shoves I'm afraid that my best case scenario is a chop.
krup24 0
why did you check the flop?i definitely fold river as played having only invested $
psujohn 0
The flop check was probably bad. I had been c-betting very frequently so villain should expect a c-bet if he's paying any attention. I figured he's calling with nearly anything if I c-bet the flop and so I could see what the turn brought and re-evaluate.

Money022 0
What do you expect to get called by when betting the river? It's a stretch to think he's going to call with JJ/TT or A high. I don't like opening up the betting with a hand that has no value if raised when it's unlikely a weaker hand calls a value bet anyways.

I guess it depends how well you know the villain, but I would play a K the same way out of position.
mikeysong 0
this is a fold a lot however your check certainly doesn't represent a king. if he's bluffy or capable of reading hands then this would be a call.
Sheiky 0
I kind of like the way you played the hand, i think it's a fold on the river, though it's close.

Villain is bad. He calls here with nearly his entire range that's gotten to this point. He's also not particularly agg and hasn't shown any fancy plays. I think the c/r is bizarre since there is no reason for villain to think I'd bet this river. A c/r by villain with a K here is horrible. But we've established that he's bad.I folded but I think I probably folded the best hand or a chop at worst. Still given the bet size vs the pot size I think the fold is ok. ROBBBIGG 0
I'm not happy to have to do it, but I'm calling here so often. It's not because I have a full house, it's because of the story villain is telling. The check on flop is fine, but he bets 1/4 pot on turn he hits trips with? Ok, maybe villain likes to be tricky, but now he's checkraising like 3-4x the pot? That's not tricky and trying to get value from your underfull, that's stupid and bluffy.
