Just curious about this. I like hearing the philosophy behind sports and what draws people to their hobbies/obsessions. [You can find out a lot about a person that way.]

So why do you love poker? Is it the adrenaline? The anticipation of the cards? The money? Reading people? Beating them? Busting them? The math? The luck? The psychology? I know it's the whole package, but there's always one element that got you first, or still gets you the most. What is it?

$100 to a billionare is not $100 to a homeless woman. there is no natural law saying how much money should be worth to you. i'm not saying you shouldn't have a respect for money, but you should realize that $200 in your bankroll is no longer $200 in your pocket. once it's in your bankroll it should be the $200 to the millionare, that is, that it no longer has any real value to you. it becomes an investment by which to make more money and nothing more. it becomes just a number or an abstract idea of a number.

It doesn't matter who you start because you have a horse shoe up your ass so far I'm not really sure how you get through the day. You must be gay.

the heart pounding feeling when u bet huge on an all out bluff. and the dick makes u sit there, hands getting sweaty, all u can hear is your heart beating, and it seems like its been 5 minutes. then watching his hand hit the muck.
that is what i love to play for.
oh and ya life tilting people. which works well after showing your hand from the first thing i said.

The hope, the dream, the delusion, that if I can just get a little bit better, I might actually be able to make some decent money.
