When I first looked at this, I would have said it's a fold if you think you have a good read, and I think a fold is reasonable. However, I noticed it's six-max. I have such a hard time folding a hand like this short handed.I'm a nitty full ring player. Is this ever a fold when it's six handed? I mean, without a good read / notes?I think I would make this call; wouldn't someone with AK or QQ make the same little donkshove 4-bet like that?

Can't fold K's in this situation. Folding this hand here is a losing situation in the long run. If a 3 bet reraise from the small blind will make you fold K's I'd love to have you in my game any day. A call is definitely warranted here. If he is uber-aggressive he could probably be doing this with a hand as weak as 10's or J's if he thinks you are just trying to steal here. Like decypher says the situation might be different in a full ring game but given the inability to get too much information from a small blind bet it is a must call.

I've found that these random overshoves are usually not AA, but it depends on the player yeah?Could easily be QQ+, AQs, AK. Maybe even JJ if the guys a donk.Don't fold KK, call.

Because - he is putting you on weaker holding because it is 6-max, and you should be returning the favor.Do not fold. People do this with AK and QQ a lot, I don't care what he rolls over, I'm never folding.

Yeah, I think it's the same in an optimal strategy sense. On the other hand, villains who are playing in 6-max are less likely to play too passively in this situation.

It's a 6 max BvB battle and a guy just overshoved of a standard reraise. I couldn't possibly get my chips in any faster here and I'd already be counting how many Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers I could buy with my profits!

I'd have a hard time laying down KK in a low stakes short handed game, unless I have really good read. Without knowing your specific read on the player, I tend to fall back on what I know of players in general at $.25/$.50. It's pretty common to see them overplay hands like 10-10, JJ, QQ, A-Ks, or even A-Qs (occasionally). Since there's only one hand within his range that scares you (AA) I think you have to call.
