On this kind of board I want to say check behind on the flop. What's your equity against a set? That would decide if I shove or fold. I don't think call is an option - if the flush hits you won't get paid, and if it doesn't, you're facing a big bet on the turn.

Maybe if you're playing on Bodog and you can actually expect the ace-high to be good 30% of the time or so. On Stars or FT, this is definitely a flat-call though. Villain very likely has a made hand that he's not folding, so we want to be able to get away if the board pairs.

Agreed. If you just call and then make your hand on the turn, you'll never get paid. Just shove.
