Partypoker: 6 players NL Holdem $0.25/0.50

Hero has been playing for about 30 mins and reads villian to have no concept of position and overplays hands like K10, AJ , J 10. Hero's image is probably TAG.

Hero is on the button & holds A icon_suit_heart.gif Q icon_suit_heart.gif

Villian MP1 $38
Hero Button $57.25

Villian raises to $2, Co calls $2, hero raises to $11, SB folds, BB folds, villian calls $9 Co folds.

Flop: K icon_suit_spade.gif J icon_suit_club.gif Q icon_suit_diamond.gif

Villian shoves all- in $27, hero pukes...

Two questions, do we like the play preflop and is it a profitable play longterm? What is our general read on a shove lead from this type of player at these stakes?

Looks standard-ish to me, though I probably only go to $8-$9 pre. On the flop, I'm supremely annoyed, but I probably dump.

I am really happy to enter in this site. Poker is one of the online gaming. It is very talented game. In poker game so many persons play with betting. It is almost gambling. It has so many types. Family members also play for fun with this game. We're all new players and we cannot play at 4 tables at once! It's incredible.

Preflop is standard. Automatic. I'm doing this like 90% of the time. Man, that flop is tough. I'm not sure. My sense is that this is a pair+OESD, but it very well could be two pair or a weak king. Or just a straight draw. I'd come up with a likely range and crunch the numbers through pokerstove, and do what the numbers tell me.
How would I describe myself? Three words: hardworking, alpha male, jackhammer. Merciless. Insatiable.

JT or QT seems oh so possible. With bottom 2 next in line.... With KT I'd probably CRAI if I were him.

That being said, I agree that I'd raise less PF and reluctantly fold the flop, but I do feel you might be ahead at the moment.

I folded the hand which was kinda automatic but I could not figure out what the guys range was to call preflop and then push like. Looking back the raise to $11 does look too strong but thats the way it went down.. ty for replys.

I can't see how we're ahead enough times to be calling this profitably.
We need to know the villain here.

Weird. I guess adding in TT, which we dominate, but has outs against us (and there are a full 6 combos of) outweighs the AA (3 combos), KK (3), QQ (1) and JJ (3) that dominate us..

Interesting.
