Jujoki3 0
No real reads, just sat down. Preflop is pretty standard for me. I guess on the flop i should've bet more, but i was just loading up tables and was rushed. What hands can you put villian on? There's stickied topics with links you can use.Anyway. Onto the hand itself.Preflop, I like.Flop: I'd bet somewhere between 20-25.Turn: Yuck, but I don't think he has an 8 here because of his big bet. I'm thinking he raise/called with a hand like 10's or Jacks (maybe 9's), and the board is really scary for his hand. I've made that play with flopped sets on monotone boards before. It's a clear fold, IMO.

Jujoki3 0
lol. thx for convert. its hard to tell what "level" someone is on because it is the 100 nl. surely there are some thinking players. i ended up calling and he showed JJ. not sure why he shoved still because the straight draw card came on turn. Just one time i want to get the thought process of a person like villian.

It might even look like a bluff." It's not really a bad thought.
rainbowbrite 0
foldI like his over bet here. If you have 88 fine he paid you, but if he can get you to call with a hand like he did and get paid, its really a greay play. I just read an article on card player by a online pro about mixing in over bets. I think he knows its very unlikley you turned a straight. But he knows its deff possible you have qq or ak with a flush draw. I am interested what the rest of you think of his play? I really like the villans line here.
