Do you have a read on him as a calling station? Have you not shown down very many hands? If you think he's going to fold, then bet. If you think he's going to call, a check is good.

Yea, he was a loose passive.  About a 36 VPIP and low aggression (both PF and post flop).
Then just check behind him. You made the correct play.

Seems to me the only way they can call is if they can beat you. Checking lets you win the times when they have nothing, and you save a bet the times when they are calling with a weak ten or jack..

Okay this is just too wierd... Nostalgae's Dancing Krablar Character was dancing to my Dave Matthews... haha... that was sweet...Check 4th and call a bet on the river!
