depends how im feeling. if im feeling particularly tight, when im under the gun ill look at my first card, if its below 8, i fold without looking at the next one. usually once my second card has been dealt however

As soon as the second card is dealt. Takes less than 3/10ths of a sec to memorize two hole cards.Never look a the first card before the second one is dealt. The second card may hit your hand and flip over.
