Coming from micro-limit, I'd have to say that absent any reads (IE the guy being a maniac and 3-betting anything less than two-pair), you're chip-spewing more often than not there. Besides KT being an actually reasonable holding here (Though he probably doesn't bet that on the flop here), he could have just turned two-pair with a Q(Flop card, though QJ would be the most likely possibility).I'm going to say SB has a set of 5s here.

Yeah, too aggressive on 4th street.  You don't have top 2 pair.  I'd call the 3 bet and see what develops on the river.
same. i also probably raise this flop

You suck at using the convertor :PYeah, capping is right, because he probably has an over pair. Can't say I agree with just calling on the flop though

Haha, I thought the same thing when I saw that mess of a conversion. Also, since I forgot to mention the flop, I'm raising the flop as well. Two pair isn't golden and there's a concievable straight draw (Q-10, K-10) out there.

the smooth call on the flop is for a few reasons. One, I'm not scared of SB having PP, I've got hands logged on him and he's LA-A so if he's just calling.. he's got a loosing hand and he'll raise PP's from anywhere.Secondly - Raising on flop will not knockout only the hands that I can beat to the end, no real draws here, until the Q hit then it was a possible K-10I think I just screwed up on 4th, I think calling the flop was right because I want to make the extra big-bets.I don't know if I'm the only person who doesn't show too much aggresion on the flop w/ 2 pair and a board that isn't 2-suited but it works for me in the long run... I think.

a raise on the flop doesn't knock out too many hands that are calling 1 and not drawing, but folding to 2. AJ still most likely calls or bumps again, and you're pricing QT into calling the flop.

And yeah, I'm sure I just look like I'm following the crowd at this point, but raise the flop.I honestly think you're looking at the turn wrong. There WAS a draw out there for KT, and it got there on the turn. I'll grant that whether you raised or not on the flop probably doesn't make much difference if SB is the only guy you're worried about (As he'll probably just call your raise and hit the gutshot anyway), but I still feel as though you have to at least make weird draws (Like those who may be trying for the runner-runner flush...yes, I'm serious) pay dearly for trying to hit.And I stand by my opinion on your turn cap that you're beat more often than not here. He's done nothing but show strength post-flop, and the queen doesn't seem to scare him, meaning it either made him some two-pair, a set, the straight (Probably not), or he had one of these holdings on the flop.

agreed...this is a set/straight/QJ more often than it is an overplayed higher PP or Jx. if i had to put him on a hand, i'd put him on 8T or KT.

Yeah he ended up beating me with QJ as someone said, Right after I capped I yelled pretty loud, I knew it was stupid the minute I did it. I will look into raising on the flop here... You might be right about making the draws pay that extra money, not disguising my hand as much...

one way or another, that turn play was the near-dead on definition of chip spewing :club:
