custom36 5
More proof of why you DON'T slowplay aces AT ANY POINT on PartyPoker.Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) converterUTG+2 ($0)MP1 ($30.38.)MP2 ($3.05)MP3 ($29.4)CO ($28.25)Hero ($24.3)SB ($66.65)BB ($8.24)UTG ($20.65)UTG+1 ($26.1)Preflop: Hero is Button with [As], [Ah]. SB posts a blind of $0.1. UTG calls $0.25, 5 folds, UTG calls $0.75.This is a standard raise for me. Here it achieves my goal: Isolating an opponent.Flop: ($2.35) [Ks], [Th], [4d] (3 players)UTG checks, Hero bets $1, UTG calls $1.Hoping to induce a bluff later in the hand.Turn: ($4.35) [5s] (3 players)UTG checks, Hero checks. This was a HUGE mistake. I got greedy and was fairly certain he'd bet on the river if I checked behind him.River: ($4.35) [9d] (3 players)UTG bets $4, Hero calls $8.65.I was right, he bet. I raised. He reraised. That worried me, but I wasn't gonna punk out.Final Pot: $27If you can't figure out what he had, go ahead and ask.

allinbluff35 0
raise to 5xbb PF with one limper, pot the flop, pot the turn, river depends on his actions
BeanGW 0
I take it he had Q-J...All i can say is that I think if you're gonna play in the No Limit rooms, you gotta take advantage of that to protect your A's and K's. You will win a small pot... but otherwise you'll lose the big ones.Go all in preflop. If they're gonna call ya, so be it. A $1 bet in a no limit room just doesn't do the trick. As I said, I was a dumbass on that move. Look at allinbluff's post, that's what I usually do (give or take). In regards to going all in preflop: Not a f.ucking chance. The pot is unraised and I dont' want the board to decide my fate. That's a stupid idea. Nobody should let you play NL again.
