Posted this at 2p2 but lets see what you guys think.. how do you feel about my line for flop turn and river? We are in the 4th level, blinds 100/200/25.I'm probably viewed as a young aggressive player. I've had one bluff that failed where I c/r the turn with a semi bluff and bet the river and got looked up by a one pair hand.I've played two hands with the villain, first one was in the first level when I raised UTG with AsAx and villain called in BB flop came Js8s 4s he ch i bet he call turn was 2x he ch i ch river was Qx and he ch i value bet and he called and mucked. Other hand I raised from BB with AcKx he called from SB flop came 10 high with two clubs he led and i raised him 3x and he called turn was small club and he ch/ instafolded to my bet.He seems to limp a lot and probe bets a lot of hands. He's cashed 3 times I believe during this series. My stack is 22k and villain covers.Folds to MP bad player who limps, villain limps hijack and I limp A9 in CO, button folds, SB completes and BB checks.Flop is 9d 5s 4sBlinds check, MP checks, Villain bets 800, Hero raises to 2200, all fold villain takes about 15 seconds and calls.Turn: 10hVillain checks, hero checksRiver: 7dVillain bets 3500, hero callsthoughts on all streets?

First, I kind of like the idea of snapping off the limpers and making a pretty big raise preflop..Takes control of the pot right then..Limping isn't terrible w/ in the c/o though..I dunno, I really like raising preflop more hereHe seems kind of like a loose, passive, calling station esque player and not one to get aggressive with missed draws or no?Because thats all we beat here..Hes not value betting a worse one pair hand than us here, so he either hit some sort of 2 pair/straight/set (although I don't knwo what kinda straight he makes)I like the flop and turn..Good value/find out where you are raise on the flop..Turn is a good check behind to keep the pot a manageable size...When you do this, you open up the possibility for him to bluff the river though, so when I think about it more, you probably have to call the river...He could have spades, 67, or air if hes tired of your shenanigans

I don't mind raising preflop here, after this hand I did a lot of that isolating the weak MP player and the villian in this hand. Your analysis is spot on what I was thinking during the hand. My turn check was designed to try and keep the pot small and eliminate the chance of gettin c/r on the turn by a hand that I'm beating and possibly induce a bluff on the river from a missed draw. I just remembered that I played another hand against this guy.. it was shortly after I was caught bluffing, I raised JJ UTG to 500 at 100/200, weak player called in SB and villain called in BB. Flop came 10 10 4 rainbow SB ch villain ch I bet 1k sb fold, bb call turn was a 2 villain led 2.5k i called river 4 villain led 4.5k and i debated for a while and after talking to him decided to fold and he showed a ten. I think I'm happy with the way I played this hand but regardless of result I think I should have done the same thing I did on the JJ hand and taken the time to get him to talk.
