Little, Townsend, Etc Invited To Nbc Hu Championship.

Recommended Posts

I'm surprised they invited Brian Townsend (mainly high stakes cash game player) to the heads up tourney. I'm mad as hell that they invited Shannon Elizabeth back though.http://www.cardplayer.com/poker-news/artic...s-familiar-pros

Gimme some Guy Laliberte in there! That would be super funny. As for SE she deserves an invite back because she proved everyone else wrong and actually played good. Maybe you kick out some douche bags like....ummm PHIL GORDON!!!

you guess what? she played well last year...i know its cool to hate on ppl actually doing something in the poker world, but imo she deserves an invite...
What has Shannon Elizabeth done in the poker world? She got deep in a 64 player event. You act like that's some huge accomplisment. The fact is that she hasn't done jack shit in the poker world and if she wasn't a hot broad, she would never get the opportunities she has gotten in the poker world.Who the hell ever said its cool to hate on established people in the poker world? What the hell are you talking about?

The only thing I wanna say in response to your completely asinine post:The people that get invited to the NBC HU Championship are, for the majority, world class and highly established players. Do you for one minute think that Shannon's meager poker results are the reason she got an invite last year? Obv. Not.You sir, are a joke.I might be an ass, but at least I know how to use "your" and "you're" properly.Learn spelling first, then poker.

It's a tv show first poker show second. They are going to invite people that the majority of americans know.

Or celebrities. They had Don Cheadle last year too. Come on man, this is a no-brainer for NBC, she lost in the semis to the winner last year, she's nice to look at and a celebrity. Why would they not invite her?

You would be a total douchebag. Not surprising. I don't need to peek at people's whole cards to win pots. But hey, I made a post about me seeing a donkey's hole cards so now u try and use it against me.Please drink a gallon of bleach, for me.

i mean we all know shannon isnt the best player in the world, but a few world series cashes and a semi in the heads up is a pretty ok year for a NON PRO....as a matter of fact its a pretty solid year for about 95% of this forum..hard to talk crap about a player when they have done things that you havent..im just sayin'...hub is probably the same guy that makes fun of chris moneymaker and varkyoni...no problem mate, after you take down the main event you can talk all the crap in the world you want about them... :club:

She went really deep last year and she probably attracts some viewers that the poker players don't.
