vn r. did you apply chapter 4?
Just go in there with a clear head and don't try to force anything. Just swing away and be yourself, let them do their thing. You should get a great result.
let us know how it goes!

Thanks, man...will do. Was a little worried about whether I should be going, because a few weeks ago I was tinkering with the swing (almost always a bad idea) and the results weren't good--got me thinking it's not the clubs, just me. But recently I've gone back to a basic "take it back and swing away" mentality that seems to be the right approach, so I think now is the time to make an investment in proper sticks.
I read somewhere recently that Tiger Woods says the most annoying question he gets is "What clubs should I play?" His response (paraphrased) was: "Go get yourself fitted. Every golfer, every swing, is different."
Anyway, my dad was at Ping not long ago and said the crew there is amazingly patient and smart--I guess there were some real hackers in there that day, and they were still able to help them in a big way.

Don't do anything different than you normally do. Don't go in there with a bunch of swing thoughts, or try to impress the club fitter guy. The closer you come to your everyday normal swing, the better.
