econ_tim 0
From Full Tilt, so Hand Converter didn't work.Dealer: Hand #100841396Dealer: AndyNoise posts the small blind of $0.50Dealer: SAVAGE posts the big blind of $1Dealer: You have been dealt [Kc Ac]Dealer: eyecedtea foldsDealer: econ_tim raises to $2Dealer: DBT foldsDealer: Mulletude foldsDealer: Bronko calls $2Dealer: MaximumJ foldsDealer: AndyNoise foldsDealer: SAVAGE calls $1Dealer: The flop is [4s As 9h]Just what I wanted to see.Dealer: SAVAGE checksDealer: econ_tim bets $1Dealer: Bronko calls $1Dealer: SAVAGE calls $1Thinking I'm against a lower ace and a flush draw maybe.Dealer: The turn is [Kh]Dealer: SAVAGE checksDealer: econ_tim bets $2Dealer: Bronko calls $2Dealer: SAVAGE raises to $4Dealer: econ_tim raises to $6Dealer: Bronko calls $4Dealer: SAVAGE calls $2OK, so maybe SAVAGE was playing K9s from the blind and the other guy is on a flush draw. Or else he was slow-playing a set?Dealer: The river is [3c]Dealer: SAVAGE checksDealer: econ_tim bets $2Dealer: Bronko foldsDealer: SAVAGE raises to $4Dealer: econ_tim calls $2Obviously Bronko missed his draw, or just gave up his crappy cards, but what does SAVAGE have? Guest XXEddie
Thinking I'm against a lower ace and a flush draw maybe.with that flop an A with a flush draw was impossible, and he has 99...maybe

My guess is K9 or A3 .
econ_tim 0
Sorry, meant thought one hand was a lower ace and the other a flush draw. Still no right answer.
RonBurgundy 0
a misplayed A9?
Absolute 0
You have been dealt [Kc Ac]hes not savage donk
Absolute 0
I don't put him on an ace. He played this hand like a donk and I think he leads the flop or C/R the flop with any ace.no set either hed cap the flop...i dont think he picked up a pair until the turn.he might have a poorly played KQ
econ_tim 0
Imagine my surprise when:Dealer: SAVAGE shows three of a kind, AcesDealer: econ_tim shows two pair, Aces and KingsDealer: SAVAGE wins the pot ($34.50) with three of a kind, AcesDon't think there was anything I should have done differently, except possibly 3-bet river. Savage's play is strange though.
Emptyeye 0
SAVAGE was obviously trying to emulate his favorite no-limit tournament heroes in a limit ring-game environment. Personally, I feel as though it's my patriotic duty as an american poker player to relieve such people of their money.
Wily 0
What an ugly play of AA - nothing you could've done Tim, I think. I've written a few times about how a lot of the 1-2 players on FTP will slow play their premium pairs preflop and on the flop, usually waiting until the turn to raise. It's bizarre how many of them do this, especially just calling a raise with AA/KK instead of reraising preflop. It makes it harder to read them on boards, but when you draw out on them and they keep raising there is nothing better :)In this case, Savage's play was plain bad. He lost at least 2 SBs preflop, and 2-4 BB on the turn/river. I see no reason why he wouldn't cap the turn with the nut set. Just be glad he didn't take you for more on this hand, I suppose, is the moral of the story.See you tomorrow-Yang
