I play this kind of hand like Royal says, with positive results. The Q is just a bad card to check after you c/c on the flop. If you were on a draw on the flop, it didn't help you. If you were floating the flop with a queen, why would you check when it hit? If I were the villain I'd c-bet the flop and the queen too if you check to me, putting you on a straight draw, combo draw, some pair < TT or a suited Ax or Kx that gave you a pair on the flop. As played I sometimes call, sometimes fold depending on my image for how often each way. It just seems weak to c/c and the c/f that board all the time and too station to always call.

AQ TT JJ AK are probably all in his range here, right? Where are you putting him if you're calling PF and check-calling the flop? If you were calling to see if you hit your gutter, you didn't and now you're not really priced to call this bet looking for it on one card.

I would fold the turn, fast. A 22/9/2 player will have 88 beat almost always when he fires a second barrel on that turn.

I think c/r raising here is too expensive and builds a bigger pot which you don't want.This thread pretty much somes up my opinions on how to play this hand.The advantage with leading the turn is that you can stop him drawing out on you if he has two overcards. If you were to check the turn however, you can easily fold to a bet and on the river you are in a good situation if a blank falls, you could check and try to snap of a bluff, or you could lead out which would probably make the villain call with weaker hands than he would normaly given the way you played the hand.I think it's close decision between both, but with the villains low aggression factor i'd prefer leading the turn to stop him drawing out on you because he's less likely to bluff the river.
