A blog is the best way to keep myself in check and reflect on my play. I started the blog slightly after doing the challenge, so I bent the rules a bit in the beginning, but I'm going to strictly adhere to the rules from now on.
I have made it $262.05 in about 1 month.
So, I hope to have some feedback from you guys and hope you guys will come take a look at my blog. Link to it is on my Sig.
Thanks.
Brian

I wouldn't try to think about a million just yet, give yourself small targets, 10k would be a good one to start with.

Currently around 6k after starting in Jan.
BigKamp: yyou lose
BigKamp has 15 seconds left to act
BigKamp calls $24.50, and is all in
Seat 1: BigKamp (small blind) mucked [Ad Ac] - a full house, Aces full of Kings
Seat 2: Snamuh (big blind) showed [Kd Kh] and won ($102.50) with four of a kind, Kings
Snamuh: you lose

A bit of advice, aim for 1k. then for 10k. Its going to take time just to reach 10k, and its going to involve ups and downs and you'll be more focused to work at getting 10k than you ever will be for reaching 1million.
Its like 1 player in a million who can climb level after level without skipping a beat. Most winning fulltime players have lost a ton here or there at a higher limit and its part of the experience needed to mentally prep yourself for when you lose or win those figures regularily.
so i'd stick with the goal to 10k first. It will help u reach it sooner.

I always went for the big tournies and never had any BR management skills.
What do you guys think is a good number of buyins to lose at a new level before you move back down?

I don't think there's anything wrong with it from an etiquette standpoint, especially not on the internet. Ferguson's strength is playing short, so he does that. I suspect that's because a game theory analysis is easiest to do when playing shallow.
