PearlJamJV 0
Hi allEarly stages of a NL MTT...blinds 20/40...I'm the BB and get Kd-2d, there are three limpers, the SB folds and I check to see the flop...flop come Ks-Qh-2h, Pot has 140 in it and I bet the pot with my 2 pair, two of the limpers fold and one calls, I put this limper on a heart draw...Turn is 6c, Pot has 420 in it and I bet the pot, the limper moves all in and I call, he has Jh-4h...the river is a 7h and I got busted out of the tourney...I was an 80/20 favorite and the limper was not getting the odds to call but he moved in and I'm not sure if I could have played this differently...any thoughts? Thanks

BeaverStyle 1
This post belongs in the bad beat forum. You got your money in there against an aggrodonk who was drawing to 9 outs. He got there. Go eat some turkey and let the triptophan (sp??) do it's work. Don't worry kid, you played it well.FYP

Here's a lil advice:Don't post hands wondering "could I have gotten away from this?" when you give results. Oh, don't ever give results, come to think of it. It creates a bias towards the responses you'll get.Try to get the hand history of hands you are unsure of. Convert them using a link in one of the stickied threads at the top of this forum page. And finally, don't let your opponent catch flush draws on you with one pull of the deck. Happy Turkey Day. AndyZ28 0
You played it fine. The only hands that beat you are KQ and K6. I can't see anyone limping in with K6, even suited in a tourney. And I can't see anyone not raising a little bit with KQ. You just got a bad run.
