bdc30 0
lol come on igz, there's some strat value there. If I'd stopped it at just the preflop fold and said "How bad does this fold suck" would that have been better?
iggymcfly 0
But then you would have just a bunch of people saying "standard". Everybody knows low pairs don't play well multiway. Well, unless you flop quads against top boat or something.
bdc30 0
Seriously though, IS that a standard fold in a family pot closing the action?
iggymcfly 0
Seriously though, IS that a standard fold in a family pot closing the action?Yes. The fact that there are four callers should make you more likely to fold as with all the extra hands in there, you're going to run into set-over-set situations a ton. bdc30 0
See, so I learned something from this that I wouldn't have from posting it in my blog or the bbv thread, thus +1 for the forum...lolWhen I was in the hand, and when I posted it, I thought why the fk did I fold that, given there were 5 guys in for $3.50 and $3 more to call for me. Then I saw the flop, and that's obviously not going to help me at all. What you said though is the exact reason I did fold at the time...Thought even if I DID hit a set, with all those guys in there, what hands could I possibly be confident against. simo_8ball 1
Make it 5533 and I fold, 8877 and I call. Here, I lean to a fold, but I can be persuaded either way. The 54 suited connector adds a touch of value.
