On the bubble: Blinds 100/2004 handed.Stacks: Hero 1,800BB: 2,000I pick up QQ UTG.So far All-Ins have never been called. So I chose to raise to $800. Only the BB calls.Pot: 1,700Flop is ATx (rainbow)BB pushes me All-In for 1,000 more.Is there a arguement for calling? My thinking went like this:If he would have the Ace, why doesn't he let me bet first and my second thought was, why open shove and maximize the chance that I fold. But on the other side I thought why call for my tournament life with the A on board.I guess the pot odds said, that I need to be right 1 out of 4 times. So is there a chance of having the best hand here 1 out of 4 times?Thanks...

I would never raise 4BB UTG with QQ with a stack of 1800 and blinds 100/200. It leaves me with few options on the flop. Either I'm going allin if it's checked to me or I'm calling for my tournament life on anything but a AKx board.Either push allin preflop (best) or raise 2.5 BB and make your best read from there.Knowing the stacks of other opponents would also be extremely important in determining the best course of action.

You raised PF. Do you think he's bluffing or betting a T that connected when you showed PF aggression and an Ace falls on the flop?He's putting you all in simply because your stacks don't really warrant any other play. He's down to 1400, the pot is 1700, and you're down to 1000. Assuming he's holding an Ace he's not going to check and risk you not betting, and there's no point making a small bet, so might as well put you all in. He'll either get all your chips or take the 1700 chip pot.

I didnt pushed because All-Ins on this table have not been called. But Raises to 800 had been called. So I chose the route which I thought will earn the most given the situation.The other stacks:UTG/Hero: 1,800#1: 8,000 FOLDEDSB: 1,700 FOLDEDBB: 2,000

So preflop all-ins aren't being called at this table? Then what have they been calling 800 raises with? More importantly what have people been re-raising with? AA,KK only? If it has been standard to see 800 raises called by Ax and people getting married to them then yeh, it's OK to let this go but you have to be willing to push and pray next time you pick up anything half-playable (maybe good if this table is that nitty)As far as this hand goes, I shove QQ preflop, take my blinds and use them for a free round. Raising nearly half your stack sucks preflop..Shovel preflopAs played, fold flop..Do you really think hes making that bet with air, a 10, or KQ/KJ for a gut shot? If there was a FD on the board, I'd give it a little more thought but I just can't see stacking off here postflop
