The Royal Flush

Recommended Posts

Ok guys, I'm a relative new comer to poker as I've only been playing for about five years now. The first poker hand I ever heard of was a Royal Flush and obviously the first thing I said was "Thats the hand for me! :club: ". Seroiusly though, have any of you ever seen a royal flush? Much less actually gotten one. Ive hitten a couple of straight flushes in my time but never a royal flush. I saw a video on you tube where a guy hit a full house on the flop and then got beaten when the other player got a royal flush on the river. But personelly, Ive never seen it happen. Can anyone out there calculate the chances of actually getting a royal flush? I'd say they'd be pretty small. I would also like to know how you guys would play a royal flush against two tight players. Say you hit a royal flush on the flop and the two players make a quick check over to you. How would you play your hand from that point?

OP. You joined here a day ago. Since then you've started at least five retarded threads. Please stop. Have a look around. Reply in threads that others have started. Get a feel for the board. If you keep starting dumb crap, people are going to harass you to the point that you get frustrated and leave. That's not in anyone's best interest.

the better you handle the flaming the better chance you will be more accepted into the community. most people had to deal w/ this when they started out. everyone is just joking around. now apologize, bow, and kiss his ring.

To answer the OP question: only Royal I've ever saw was HU at the end of a 45 man SNG, we were about even in chips, and we ended up getting it all in the middle.. I had QQ, he had A :club: Q :D Flop, of course was K :D T :D J :D .. Went from a 70% favorite to drawing stone dead on the flop.. /tournament.lol
