I've decided to take a shot at $25NL and see how I go. I've been at a pretty active table (and have lost half my stack and forgotten to reload obv) ... I limp AA UTG to hopefully punish a raiser .. unfortunately we take a limped flop. I bet the river, and get raised... What line do you take here? First of all, what's the upside?

1) Reload.2) Raise pre-flop. Seriously...95% of the time open-limping at 6-max is a bad idea.3) Bet the turn. ($2.50-$3)As played, you've totally underrepped your hand. Opponent most likely has a jack and will pay off a river 3-bet.

Without looking at results, I re-raise to AI. This is a Jack so much more than an 8, your low stack will entice a call more (based on experience) and your AA is well disguised. Also, you'll here this again: Don't post results, even in white. They really do affect replies.

I shove river here. I had a hand that turned out similar to this only I raised PF and bet every street strong on a 64333 board. In my case I got smooth called down and reraise shoved for less than twice my bet by a total fish who had 23 :)Still, I get all-in here.

wow .. thanks for all the quick replies guys ...still adjusting to $25NL where I think the play is significantly more aggressive ...The upside of limping a big pp is i guess this very situation that my hand is well disguised ... that and repopping a raiser... I've been experimenting with doing it ocassionally.

The only time to do it is when you've got very loose-aggressive players behind you.Also, another thing about the river...you're so short that you're definitely just wanting to get this in. Now if you each had $100 behind or something on the river, then you can consider just calling his raise.

LRRing is really only practical at full ring tables and when people have been routinely raising limpers.Doing it here is pretty stupid since it's 6 handed. Unless you got some maniac who is constantly raising the limpers, this is a bad play.

OP, please do not include results, even in white, as people usually can't help themselves but to read them, and it will influence the replies.I've removed them for ya. ============On the hand, I don't see much reason in playing fancy at 25 NL. Unless some lagtard maniac is behind you, just raise preflop, and reap the benefits.
